Got a question. How do I know if I need new springs.

I am about to change shocks/struts for a better ride/handling. ...I dont want to lower my Maxima.

I dont want to end up finding out i should have changed my springs too.

thanx

unless your springs are broken, or very badly rusted... I'm sure there fine.

Stay with SE springs. They'll be fine.

Yes it is (as long as you're looking).

If you want to lower your car, now is the time. But if not just stick with SE springs.

yeah i wanting to lower it a bit but really don't want a bouncey ride, just trying to find a good spring to get for about an 1 1/2" drop.

well there are plenty of springs that wont give you a bouncy ride, plus stiffen up the struts some and you for sure wont have a bouncy ride.

Once you figure out how low you would like to go, do some looking around there you'll probably find a few springs meeting your desires. Choose the best one you can afford, or save up more and get the best one.

H&R, or Tein H-Tech.

BTW, springs only determine whether your ride is firm or soft. Shocks/struts are what determine whether it's bouncy.
