i closed my hood, and my leather bra caught in between the latch mechanism and is now stuck within the hood latch. when i try to pop the hood it does not pop and the mechanism is stuck. Any thoughts on how i can go about opening the hood? it is pretty frustrating and rediculous that i cannot open the most crucial part of my car. thanks again.

 

If you're not concerned about your bra anymore, I have a suggesting that may or may not work.
1.Cut the bra so you have a handle to yank it with.
2. Have a friend pull the hood lever thing and yank the bra up at the same time.

Again, use this only if you don't care about the bra anymore

Its part of a 2 step plan... unless you can yank it W/O cutting

 

thanks for the advice, i figured i could do somethin like that just wanted some opinions.

 

Slam the hood down in the front area after you 'pop' it, so that it MIGHT release, it worked for me.

When you're all done, adjust the clip.
