Did a compression and leakdown test today
Maybe someone can help me out. I'm not sure what the specs are on the compression or leakage. Here were my results.
Compression test:
1-175
2-175
3-165
4-170
5-160
6-175
Leakdown test:
1-15%
2-15%
3-20%
4-18%
5-23%
6-16%
I currently have 209,00 miles. Are these results ok?

Compression looks pretty good...alot of consistancy throughout the numbers; exactly what you look for when doing a compression test.
How did you do the compression test ? Cylinder by cylinder, or did you take everything off and do cylinder by cylinder ??
I dont know much about leakdown tests so I cant put in my .02 cents

the maxima fsm says the standard is 185psi while the minimum is 142psi, and the maximum difference between cylinders is 14psi. Id say your engine is alright, its surely aging, but those numbers are pretty good considering the miliage. your #5 cylinder is a little low, did you try some oil in #5? if so did the numbers go up?

I pulled all the coils and plugs out, then did the test. No I did not put any oil in cylinder #5 even though I should have. I did this at school and ran out of time and had other work that had to get done. It still runs great like it did the day I got it. It is definately faster now than it was when I first got it but that's cause of light mods. If some random person drove it for the first time and didn't look at the odometer, they would never guess it has over 200,000 miles or maybe even over 100,000. Hopefully it stays running this way for a while.
You did not complete your leakdown test. The whole purpose of it is to find what path the leaking air is taking. (Intake/Exhaust or crankcase via the rings)
If you hook it up again, you listen (with a s***hoscope) at the throttlebody, tailpipe and dipstick tube for leaking air.
