SS Clutch Line install help.

Bought a SS clutch line. I'm a little confused on how to install this. I know its suppose to replace both rubber lines.

I took some pictures.

In the picture both lines connect to that block (sorry not sure what it is called). My question is, how can one line replace both those lines, but not connect to that?

Does the SS line by pass that? A little confused sorry.

Alright I figured I had to go around that, just didn't make sense to me why the original lines went to the block, but the SS line doesn't have to.

Darklegend, I got my line through derrick in the group deal section. $25 shipped.
