I have the Injen (shut up) and it has a perfect spot for the temperature sensor, but I was looking on eGay and the CAI's being sold don't advertise this spot.

Where did you put yours?

I have a diffrent style intake but I just zip tied mine up on the strut tower and put duct tape over that hole.

I'm considering drilling a hole in my stock resonator (the box, not the accordian section) and putting it there.

You can just zip tie it to something. Mine a 97 I just have it zip tied to some wires over my motor mount and it works fine.

I just have mine in the engine bay. It is taped out of the way and it doesn't do anything differently

Well I have a sorta home made/EBAY parts cai and it has a whole in the intake. I just stuck the sensor in there and it stays just fine.

but then you probably have a leak after the MAF. i am assuming buy just sticking the sensor in the hole (it will not go all the way in on my set up) that it is leaking in air past the maf with will affect your performance.

idk if the sensor makes all that much of a difference where you put it. mine was just dangling for a while, then a few months ago i zip tied it near my strut. as long as its in a safe place, you should be ok.
