Suicide Doors

Has anyone ever done suicide doors on a maxima? If so do you have any pics or how hard is it to do?

There's no point for suicide doors unless it's primarliy a show car. Otherwise a waste of money.

ohh my bad I was thinking lambo because of the previous post not suicide. yea suicide doors wouldn't be as bad but the lines on a max still wouldn't really fit i feel.

lambo doors on a 4 door car looks like ***. suiciding all four doors would be badass, but good luck because you would have to recreate the curves between the doors to make it work. suicide rear doors are cool, but you dont get to use them often enough to make it worth it.

here's some on a 2nd gen

^ agreed, suicide doors are only good if you dont have a b pillar(RX8)... you dont want to mess with the car's structural integrity....
Or! shavedmax's picture convinced him not to get suicide doors

later model cars are built to not have a b pilar for access to putting things in the back, like in saturns, the rx8 or any truck with a 3rd door. the structural member is in the 3rd door, and the way it latches to the rocker and roof make it structural. i dont think he was planning on taking out the b pilar. if the car has a b pilar and you remove it, your roof will buckle, doors wont lock closed etc. the lincoln has a b pilar, it only comes up to the tops of the door, it doesnt go to the roof because cars were built differently them.

but, suicide doors dont affect the structural integrity of the car at all. neither do lambos, they just look gay on a 4 door, unless you're a baller and can afford to have someone do suicide lambos on the back, and no one on the org has that kind of money or is that stupid.

i found a pic on here forever ago of a 4g that had the b pillar removed and suicide rears. i was one of the viper blue show cars and it was pretty sweet but like it was said before it's not worth it if you don't use it, i think lambo doors are just awkward- i mean have you ever actually tried to get into a car with them. its ridiculous

if you dont like it that's fine, to each his own. some people would rather spend the money on bulbs and dynomat and a slap it together system. others want to be flashier. i dont see anyone bustin your chops for AT LEAST putting some wheels on your car.

suicide doors... hmm.. dunno but it seems to go right along with the hidraulic lifts those latino guys put on their classic low riders... I think suicide doors don't go with our maximas any more than hydraulic lifts do

kudos on originality tho

WTH? Nobody said anything about his rims because they look nice! That ugly sentra is just hideous... I'd be embarrased to be caught dead in one of those.

you just love to start stuff dont you. first of kiddo,if you know maximas, you know its a second gen, but if you dont, then learn to read,Isaid it was one before i posted the picture. second of all im tired of people like you that the biggest mod done to your car is a cd changer telling everyone else what to do or not do to their cars. the statement about the rims was because some broke a$$ like you had the nerve to make a comment about a friend of mine's car, when he cant even afford to buy a new set of wheels, the biggest mod done to his car is a plain stereo system, so why he's even in a forum about a heavy modification like suicide doors beats me. i LOOK through the posts and go into the ones that I enjoy, not the ones that i can try to start beef in. there's plenty of bs motor posts that i dont go to, led light wiring posts, even suspension posts that i dont care to comment about. obviously mom and dad didnt enroll you in enough classes in UCI because you can spend time reading through posts that dont interest you to kill some time. before you decide to post again, why not go take pictures of you car and put them on a cardomain site. i'm not afraid to show you mine, why dont you show us yours?

Hmm looks like you've done some serious research on me eh? As your extensive research has shown, the biggest mod i've done is a cd changer. Therefore, my car would look just like any other stock i30... If I had the money and time, I wound't mod my car extensively which do nothing for the car's performance. That probably costs you a couple thousand dollars? I would save that to buy a nicer car when the time comes.
