im in the market for a nice looking 17x9 rim... tuff size to come by and there are some pretty cheap sets on Ebay..I need the extra width because soon I will have a 3.5, so obviously I need that traction .... if anyone can photoshop this Id greatly appreciate it .. thank u ! ... They look good. I've always liked a silver five spoke. The only thing that would keep me away from them is that they are Mustang wheels. I don't think they would mix well with a Japanese car. But, anyway they look very nice. Maybe you could get some Nissan center caps...

What about the earlier Cobra wheels(95-98)? I've seen pics of some on a 3rd Gen, but never on a 4th, but I bet it would look pretty good.

Definitely not. 265/40/17 would be almost perfect though.

no.

the first number is the tire width. 255mm wide. the second number is the sidewall height, 35mm. the third number is the wheel diameter, 17inches.

the numbers you posted means a wide tires, with a smaller circumference and smaller side wall.... to make up for it being wider????

you migth want to read up about your car(or cars in general) before you go doing an engine swap... knowing how tires sizing works is a pretty vital part of modding a car. if you get the wrong size tires it could have some serious consequences. like the tire falling off the rim!

For the rubbing issue you might want to consider getting a new hub assembly with longer lug screws and a few thick washers to nullify the lengthier screws. And as for the tires size, you will want 265 if the size rim you have now is 17 then go with the 45/17 otherwise subtract 10 from the middle number for each inch larger rim

Err... close. First number is section width in mm. Second number is aspect ratio in percent. Section height of a 235/45 tire = 235mm*45% = ~106mm. A 255/35 would be closer to 89mm.

Usually it's closer to 5% aspect ratio reduction for each inch your wheel diameter increases, assuming you're keeping the same width and want to retain your previous rolling diameter (not 10%).

you are an I D I O T ... gotta love these guys who barely know jack themselves who try to act like they know what they're talking about... .. I know those tires are just falling off rims everyday, lol

im educated to the dimensions and sizes of a tire you goof...I've never had anything wider than 235 on my max. and ofcourse I'm going wider, SO, the wider you go, the taller you go..dummy

f550 those do look good on there, but I was talking cobra R wheels should've been more specific, I've actually never seen the regular cobra wheels on a Max, looks good.
