If you do all your research instead of just be trying roll on dubZ y0! You would realize that there is much more than just a wheel size... Such as offsets and aspect ratios.... By matching both of those... you should be good to go...

They will fit. I had 20x8.5's with a 38 offset. I was lowered on Sprints and it tucked clean.

i talked to a guy who had 20's on his max and he said when he got on it the tire rubbed against the wheel well. i dont know from personal experience though im sure some other members have more experience in this department than me.

Hey, whatever floats your boat. Take my post for what it's worth; it's the freaking internet.

If you want them, and they fit, then go for it. I simply said that I personally wouldn't do it, but that's just me.

i've had 20's on my max for a year or so now and absolutely no problems. i didnt have to do any modifications or anything. just make sure you have the right offset and ure good to go. my wheels dont rub or anything. the thing with a lot of guys here is that they're more about performance so 20's are just too extreme. but thats just how some of us want it. if u want 20's its definitely possible.

20" just got em a week ago and i haven't had any problems, i know that doesn't say much, but take it for what its worth. i got a deal on the rubber, they're toyo proxes-4 but they're only 225/35/20s, but i think a 235/35/20 would fit the car better. but it looks damn good and i've gotten probably 50 compliments in just a week and mostly from people rollin by on the road- so it can be done and it looks sweet. just do it. i did have a few problems finding a place that would do it, most places told me manufacturer suggests no bigger than 19"- but les schwab did it for me without question

Do whatever you want on your car. It's YOUR car that will look ridiculous. Look at the wheelgap on all these cars . There are tons of sweet looking 4th gens on 19's. Same goes with 5th gens. It's not about being a "thug"....it's about you car looking like as.s.

20" will fit. I was looking into getting 20" rims on my Max, but discovered that the unsprung weight will do nasty things to my drivetrain/tranny. So I downsized in order to maintain my performance. If you want to do it, go for it but be weary of your offset since most 20" wheels come in a 8 or 8.5 width. if your offset is too high, you may experience inner wheelwell rubbing. Especially in turning. It will fit, it just won't be efficient.

To each is own...A car on 19's would look like a$$ if it's not lowered....

Personally I have seen Dubs on Maximas and they look good. Dubs are for looks if that's what you want.....Most people want performance and will bash you immediately just for mentioning 20s.....

I'll be throwing some on at the end of the month.........

Don't worry, most places have DUBS in stock. Most are cheap chrome hunks of crap, that are universal and will fit any car. If you want a guage on a good chrome wheel , ask yourself how long it will take to get it. A good Lowenhart, Antera, Asanti etc wheel...will take you at least a month to get. These chrome pieces of crap they sell for 1500 bucks with tires, prove, that you get what you pay for.

i have a question to mattleo tho. if you are gonna have 20s on your car, are you at least lowered? if you are not, it'll look weird, if you are, it'll scrape.

i've heard tho from some ppl that if you roll your fenders on a 2" drop with 20s and put spacers you wont rub. anyone here knows? lets see what the ppl rollin on dubs and a 2" drop have to say.

i'd say i'll have hydraulics so idont have to worry about it. i think the fact that the big wheels lift you up cancels out a 2 inch drop so it doesnt look dropped although it is. most of the rides you see with 20's arent dropped so they look weird, but same goes for guys with 18's and 19's, and they look weirder. small tired 18" wheel and stock suspension is 10x worse than a 20

if speed and handling matter to you, dont put rims >20lbs/rim on your car. If you dont care, then do whatever but expect your 0-60 to be like 20 seconds

given the right offset, tire size, etc. 20 inch rims fit, plain and simple. you could probably go higher if u wanted. i had 20s on, i liked it, but then i got into that performance thing people here like, so i went to 17s, and it looked like ****....i got used to it, life goes on.

not to mention crap ride quality, inaccurate speedo, and poorer gas mileage.

Also add to the fact that it's an acquired taste on these cars.

Why do it?

you flippin' @SS-whole... these guys are trying to give advice in the spirit of brotherhood. if you dont like opinions you should state that specifically... If you're gonna lash out like that, I'm sorry to say the the world will do fine WITHOUT you.

his point is that this thread is called will 20's fit on my car, not do you think 20's will look nice on my car. a simple yes or no answer suffices, if you want to give your opinion it can be done without profanity or malice. giving advice and the spirit of brotherhood are 2 completey different things. i guess since we're in this brotherhood cult and i ask you if i should drink the kool-aid, you'll tell me to also. may not be good advice, i may land on an alien space ship but i guess i should do it, since we're brothers.

you know what, on second thought since we're a "brotherhood", im going to go right now and strip my car back down, unshave my handles, paint it black, put 17's on it, and do a 3.5 manual swap beause that's the koolaid you're drinking. I'm sorry to say the the world will do fine WITHOUT you.

I've seen 20's on a max with cut springs that actually looked great and rode like a dream in NYC, so it's really goes case by case. I'm sure they will fit. There may be some rubbing issues when the wheel is turned all the way, but you never know.
