No. I think it looks alittle tacky.

Maybe just add something to the radiatior support area similar to the radiator "cooling" panel that they have in CF. *or* a polished plenum if you are staying USIM.

the one over the spark cover insert looks rather nice, but the MAF and fuse box look out of place even though it matches the scheme.

Take off the one for the MAF and fuse box and you might have something.

Um, is it my computer, because all I see are white (blank) spots covering the spark plug cover's middle, MAF sensor's top, and the fuse covers. Anyways, I think your engine bay is clean enough like that.

They both look good but I think the engine looks a lot nicer without it... it is a little tacky!

Off the subject, but I'm a collections officer and I just repo'd a Lincoln Navigator. I was doing a physical inspection on it and when I opened up the hood, the WHOLE engine, and I do mean WHOLE thing, was spray painted silver! Air box, manifold, alternator, hoses, etc.. it was the most ghetto-est thing I had ever seen!

I have had the kit in the garage for about a year now. It was chrome, but it scratched easy. I painted it silver. Its the same kit thebigsadler and araffio had. There engines have a ton of polish and chrome so it goes perfectly. I on the other hand obviously do not. The MAF and fuse boxes do look tacky. But the spark plug cover flows. I think Im going to try painting everything black.

The red is paint.

Jon,
Your engine bay is so clean!!! I'd just put the dress up on the spark plug cover. But, it's your car so do what ever you want to do!

$55? no I didnt pay that much. I got it locally for cheap. Its a 7 peice kit, but aparently subtle as heck. The chrome would stand out more. That and my picture skills suck.

Its on all 3 fuse boxes, rad support, MAF, spark plug cover... the 7th one is a mystery. I dont know where it goes. I think it was Shadow that produced them, and he didnt know either.

That was a fun game, like the ones in the doctors office when you're a little kid. "find what is different with these two pictures", and apparently I suck at those games because I had to read the posts to see what was going on. If you already own it might as well put it on, it doesn't look bad, just not something I would jump on.
