i plan on getting a y pipe and i was wondering do i need to replace my existing cat ? if so how much are they and is it worth the money?

 

but definitely not necessary. I've heard it quiets an aftermarket exhaust and flows more freely. Can't say I know for sure the price, but I believe I've seen $150 mentioned before.

The RT cat is $210 appx from RT. Shop around for better deal. I don't have a Y pipe but I couldn't tell much if any difference with my mods.(Power or noise).

Get a B pipe or a pop charger next if you don't have them.
