Consistent Knock Sensor and EVAP Canister Code

After a long drive, 2+ hours, when i restart my car the next day "Check Engine" light appears. I check the codes and it consistently throws a "knock sensor" and "EVAP Canister". Car isnt knocking, and i have had the sensor tested 6 months ago. I dont know much about this EVAP canister stuff, but apparently is an emissions thing, well my car passed emissions. This has been consistent for almost a year now. Any ideas?

knock sensor doesn't necesarily mean your car is knocking just that the sensor went bad...

to get it changed is fairly easy to do if you have small hands or kids...

You won't normally get knocking if the sensor is bad, the computer just dials back the performance. I replaced mine recently and it made a big difference. And definitely find someone with small hands if you're going to do it...

I never had knocking when my sensor went out. The how to's are really helpful for how to fix one. But it helps if you have someone with small hands to do it. I spent about 2 hours trying to cram my hand in there, my wife came out, asked me what I was doing and had it done in 5 minutes.

The EVAP thing is a mystery to me. All I can find is that you should check all the hoses and connections. The codes might be related. I always seem to get several codes for every issue.
