Exactly How Broke is a MAFS replacement gonna make me ....?

Had a funny thing happen on the way back from work. The engine and tranny had a self-rev/shift fight that resulted in a stall and restart. Then , after the restart the engine lit the CEL, so I did some research on the .org.

Im pretty sure its the MAFS ( a knock sensor wouldn't confuse the tranny, nor would the engine proceed to rev itself /stall ......) .
Now for the fun part. How much is it for a new sensor and what kind of work needs to be done to fix this?

BTW, how far down should I pull down my pants if I get this done at the stealership?

THanks

Background info:
Auto
SE
KS IS dead
TB Stock( not cleaned)
No Engine mods
CEL is on
Feel free to ask for more helpful info.

Uhh CEL= a code number that you need to pull. We cant really help unless you give a code. A MAF is a simple replacement. You can usually buy one from someone for like $50 or pay the dealership like probably $300 for the part plus installment if you didnt do it yourself which would be stupid.

MAF is pretty cheap <100 I think you can get them on eBay. The install is pretty simple seeing as how its right there when you pop the hood (unlike the damn knock sensor =\)
