What's type of mod would you guys recommend. I already have a magnaflow muffler(where the normal muffler is)but i dont understant the "muffler right after the cat? It's a resonator, not an actual muffler though it's job is to quiet the exhaust. You can eliminate it though you probably won't like the sound.

if everything else is stock, he will like the sound because it will be nice and deep.

Hmm... This is making me think. I want my Maxima to have a deeper tone, and my Budget Y-pipe isn't good enough. If I delete the resonator, how will it sound with a stock exhaust with a Y-pipe?

I know I should dig through the stickied thread, but I should be studying for exams right now

I got it done today! I replaced the resonator with a peice of 2 1/4 inch piping and the damn thing sound awesome. It gives my magnaflow muffler more exhuast sound to deepen and louden. A+ for me!!!!!
