Both are loud. If you are concerned about sound, leave the stock muffler on.

the greddy is by far wayyyyyyyy better. the stillen, which i have myself is way to loud... then i added a y-pipe and its even louder. stay away from the stillen.

the stock muffler is by far way queter! the muffler doesnt decide any power advantage on the maxima, so any one will do, it just shapes the sound. a ypipe and b pipe are the ones that will give you more hp.

totally wrong... both r not loud... ive had the greddy sp2 on for 2 yrs now, its almost as quiet as stock, barely even hear a drone... now once u add headers or a y-pipe that may change, but as far as just the exhaust the greddy is quiet as hell... and full stainless steel is a big +++

I have the greddy and love the sound and i do have the stillen y-pipe. But if you want a good exhaust that is really quiet, try the apexi world exhaust.

it all depends on the y pipe and cat. if you have the stock parts a cat back wont be all that loud. the stillen b pipe has no resonators where as the greddy has 2.

Adding a ypipe to the SP2 increases the noise level some, but its definetly not unbareable.

I had a custom 2.5 with a Apexi WS knock-off muffler, which ended up getting two cracks in the back of it due to not hung properly. REAL loud

Installed the SP2, A LOT quieter, but you are still able to tell you have something back there. Highway cruising you can't hear the thing, but 5th gear up hill it drones some, but I can still hold a conversation without screaming to the person.
