...and on the topic of this thread, wouldn't most of us have to do ricer math to figure out how much HP we're pushing without using a dyno? So for me, the magazines and marketing departments say I should be at around 220 at the engine, but I doubt that's actually true and have no way nor desire to verify that.

Hymm so I guess it's best to assume the other driver isn't say SCCA certified or has won awards at say The Porsche Club of America's annual autocross meet or has completed hours of race instruction on Road Atlanta.

I agree, sometimes it's about who's driving.
