engine stalling while at red lights

engine stalling while at red lights

hope somewone came across the one b4, the car is sputering/chocking while driving and at red lights, everyone in a while it will turn off. one mech said it was the fuel pump, and another said it was the gas filter, both mech did not get anything from the computer.

If anyone has any ideas please respond.

start with the basics, clean out the Throttle body, Clean the Idle air control valve, then work your way towards new plugs, fuel filter stuff like that. Good luck

Is it cold when this happens? Could be your ECTS (engine coolant temp sensor)

I had the same problem with my 95. Noone could diagnose it. I finally took it to a dealership and they fixed it. It was some wiring harness. apparently there was a not a recall, but a bulletin that nissan knew about.
