license plate location - 95/96

Hey guys-
I was driving home tonight from my fiance's house and a cop pulled me over for having my license plate in the front windshield. I knew that was probably illegal, which i found out for sure tonight, but i hate it up on the bumper. I got away with it for about 2 years.

So, have any of you guys with 95/96 maximas come up with a new/unique/cool way to mount it up front without it looking really ugly? Pictures and instructions on how you did yours would be appreciated.
Thanks, David

i know someone made a relocation bracket but dont think he makes em anymore. i think it was an offset location like the jdm style. or you could just get a bracket and mount it where its supposed to go.

The best place is the stock location. I gave up and put my plate back on. I was tired of getting tickets for something so stupid.

The JDM plate holder might look good on your car.

The black one in the middle is using it.

I had this same problem not to long ago. After my mother wrecked the Maxima, the plate holder was gone and she never bothered to get a new one. I kept it up inside the car facing out through the front windshield and manged to only be pulled over once for having it like that. I decided to get a new plate mount and keep it in this original place. I don't think it really matters, Maximas are still awesome looking cars no matter where the license plates are, thats just my opinion.

yeah im gonna get one of those brackets too so i can connect it under the valence and kinda have it to the side.
but i think it'd also be awesome to have one of those ones that slides up into the valence too. so you dont have to go unscreweing it everytime you dont want it showing.
btw im selling the OEM license plate holder if anyone wants one

i think having it in the windshield gets you more attention then not having it at all.
