if your worried about spending money try to get a used y-pipe. I dunno about redlinemax y-pipe but I can tell ya that budget makes a great SS y-pipe. Its just over 200 bucks. Most y-pipes will run about 200bucks, its just the cattman is alot more. Not worth it if u ask me when budget does the same exact thing for 1/2 the price.

The aftermarket y-pipe will get rid of your 2 pre-cats.... so I do think this would have an effect on your emmisions on a cold start. However it seems if your car is properly warmed up, then you'll pass the inspection.

I'm also about to purchase a Budget y-pipe, just trying to sell some headers I had for my old car first, that should fund my new purchase. Let us know how it turns out!

I just bought a Budget does it come with all the hardware necessary for installation? I just don't want the flex caving in on itself down the line the the warp speeds do.

ive had a warpspeed (the first one they came out with) and ive had no problems for 3-4 years. its now cut up to provide piping for my turbo setup but it looked fine and would have lasted another 3-4 years. youll be okay.

i believe the Y pipe and the cat before the ypipe. Maybe even the mesh not sure...i think the only differnece between the fed spec and cali spec is that cali spec doesnt have a o2 sensor inside the y pipe.
