Code 0111, P1447 done A LOT of research.

So at first I thought my code was 1101, lol, it's 0111. I've been getting this for a while now reset the ECU atleast 8 times and it always comes back. I thoroughly checked the vacuum lines running from the intake manifold, and also the evap canister purge control valve.

I'm assuming, the EVAP CPCV is bad, or the actual EVAP canister, the square box is bad. Any of you guys that have had experience with this and had to actual code please input what you did to eliminate the code/problem. What other components besides the EVAP CPCV, the EVAP canister, and electrical solenoid valve are involved in the evap system? If you can please just specifically list the part you replaced that made the code go away I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks!!!

Well I checked the EVAP CPCV and it was fine, no broken piece on that, all the little hoses running from it to, and to the tees also seemed fine. I checked the harness and connector looked fine.

I really wan't to know what people replaced, what parts specifically, that made the code go away hence resolving the issue.

My CPCV went bad a long time ago. It didn't look broken. It was an easy replacement though and it got rid of the CEL. Just go buy the peice from the dealer.

I will definately replace that, I hope that's the culprit and not the charcoal canister. Did you also replace the charcoal canister?

Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr, I reset the code, came back after 50 miles.

Okay so guys, should I do the EVAP canister first, or the EVAP Purge Control Valve.

Now I'm Desperate!

Okay, now I'm REALLY desperate. I replaced the Canister, AND the Valve on the canister. Not cheap $140 for both parts with a dealer discount from my buddies dad's shop. After driving 50 miles, the code 01 11 CAME BACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WTFFFF. I thought the purge valve would be the culprit but I guess not . Guys I really, really need some help here.

Oh I also checked the fuse "ECCS" under the engine bay, and "ECCS 2" or whatever it was, fuse #57 and $58, both are GOOD.

Okay I took out the Control Valve and the Purge Valve in the engine bay, the black piece and the silver looking piece with a harness on it. Both had charcoal in them, the black piece had a lot more than the silver one. I cleaned out both good. Put it back together, messed up once since I put the hose coming from underneath the frame parallell to to the fuel filter to the silver looking metallic piece, after looking at diagrams I saw that that hose needs to go the black circular thing. Well anyways, let's hope the code doesn't come back.

Yes it did...

I replaced the canister and valve on the canister.

Still came back...

I have NOT replaced the purge valve in the engine bay, and the control solenoid for fear that it still won't go away.

Sorry to hear that. Looks like it is the code that just won't go away. I feel so lucky to have it and have inspection due.

I wonder if I can just get away with reseting the ECU and driving around for a while, but no over 50mph which when the EVAP code seems to come on. Hopefully the rest of the systems will be in "ready" status so I can pass OBD inspection. They will allow up to 2 systems to be not ready.

I remember in the service manual you can download online, there is a rather lengthy list to problem solve that code. I know because I had the same problem and few people were able or willing to help. One thing, mine ended being the caused by my FSTB breaking a line.

Code is 01 11.

On nycmaximas.org someone suggested the control solenoid in the engine bay usually causing issues. I don't know, I just want it over and done with.

I think he's talking about where the 90deg piece comming from the snorkel(ram-air like thing)connects into the passenger side of the air box(where the filter is)

This is totally correct. There are about 7 or 8 different items to check. I started checking the first couple, but need to finish it up.
