0102 Faulty MAF Sensor

my car decided to go bad and throw out a cel today, 0102 MAF Sensor failure. how often do these things go out? under load it bogs so im guessing theres not enough voltage going through the sensor. bad case of worn wiring or just a bad MAF all together? anyone have the same problem?

I've read there's a spray you can get that apparently rejuvenates the platinum wire in the MAF. Google that.

I'd check the connectors on the MAF unit. Unplug and plug 'em a few times.

ive checked the wiring. its fine. i think its the whole thing that needs to be swapped. might take a look at the sensor itself later. its a pita to drive the car cuz it'll just stall in the middle of the road.
