Today i noticed my paint Crackling on the front bumper ...
then , MY ROOF IS MAKING SQUEAKING NOISES
it seems to be coming from the back window area
as i hold it up and tap on the center of the roof there is no noise when i let go of the back and continue tapping the noise appears

anyone hav e any ideas on what this is , possible loose screw
any help is appreciated.

O btw if this isnt enuf my bose headunit also continues to fail me.

I had the same problem with the roof noise. What I did was pull out the weather stripping around the door and I haven't had any problems. It usually happens from the passengers side door on the left side. Don't pull out the whole weather stripping just enough to take the top off. Make sure you tuck it in good after you are done. Let me know what happens!

There is a plastic panel which occupies the space above the parcel shelf, between the trailing edge of the rear door opening and the rear window. Perhaps this is the source of the unwanted sound. Ask a friend to drive while you sit in the back seat. Gently press on these plastic panels to see if they are the origin of the squeak. You can't fix the problem until you know what it is.
