VERY scary day today.
So I'm driving casually, I head a thudding sound from the bottem of the car, I thought just debris on the road. I start to brake for an upcoming light I hear a scraping sound coming from the front. I'm like wtf?
Luckily I was only 1/4 mile from my house, I pull in my driveway. I see the driver side J30 Caliper is moved up away from the rotor atleast a couple of inches. I immediatly remove the wheel.
One of the 2 bolts that holds the caliper to the spindle is MISSING, GONE, NADA. This was probably the thud that I heard earlier. I immediatly remove the other bolt to make sure the threads in the spindle are still good. They ARE!
Now I need a new bolt.
IS IT SAFE TO DRIVE WITH ONLY ONE BOLT HOLDING THE CALIPER???

So I take it I can drive with one bolt? HAHAHAHA. JP.
But listen, how do I check to make sure that caliper is still working, assuming it's only me and I don't have a buddy pumping the pedal with the the wheel in the air to see if it stops or not?
