99 Error Code 0505

My 99 GXE is reading error code 0505 when I use the screw... I reset the code and it comes back on a few hours in to driving again. The code listing in the stickies is "no error detected".

Any clue how I can turn off this stupid CEL?

Thanks In Advance

Well I reset the ecu, and the same code came up again a few hours later.... Telling me my car is running fine... Doesnt this seem a bit odd? Stupid 0505. I will reset again today, and am driving 150 miles tonight so i will see how she does.

The car will always give you a code after it runs its little checks. Code 0505 means that nothing is wrong. Is your CEL really on, or are you just checking your codes for the hell of it?

So the code was on, so i screw tested it and got 0505. I reset it. About 30miles later the cel comes on again, screw tested and got 0505 again. I reset it. I posted my messages on here, then drove 150 miles last night and no cel yet. Hopefully the problem is gone? But yes the CEL was turning on because of 0505.

It is at 59,600 miles, maybe a 60k checkup is going off? Telling me to go to the dealer?
