Car feels like it has a flat?

Today while driving myself to the doctor I could have sworn I had a flat on the front driver side, but everything checked out okay. The steering wheel has been feeling sloppy and vibrates a bit at 30mph+ as if I had a flat. Also the car seems to squeal while braking (pads/rotors are fine).

This all just happened today, wth happened?

I had the CV boot replaced about 3 weeks ago, no clicking while turning.

I just hit 70k miles today too. Not bad for a 95.

Maybe one or more of your tires have gone out of balance, I'd get that checked.

That might fix it but I doubt it. I've rebalanced and re-aligned like 4 times and I still have vibrations (I changed 95% of the suspension when I got the car from my older brother). From what I've read/recall our cars are known to shimmy from age.

Hmm... brakes starting to talk to you and your steering's gone floppy? How's your wheel bearings? If the bearings are shot (and possibly also the hub), the wheel's not gonna seat tightly, the rotor's gonna wobble a little, and cause loose steering and changed braking dynamics.

If you can slip 1 hand over the top of the tire, and grab the backside, place your free hand on the front side... shake the wheel in and out and compare the wobble to the passenger side. Excessive play would indicate bearing failure (among other things)

How are your tires? Uneven tire wear can cause this also.

Tires seem to be wearing evenly.
