Any difference between '99 Struts/Shocks and '96?

I found some '99 shocks and struts for cheap, and want to replace them on my '96.

not that i know of.... ive got 99 se springs also 78k....

They will work just fine. There may be slight differences, but nothing that will cause a problem.

it IS different if your switching se to other models (se has different rates)

Yes the SE has stiffer struts and different rear spring rates.
