has anyone noticed the radio reception being worse with the Bose 99 HU? I just switched out my 98 HU with a 99. it seems like the reception is worse... particularly when i'm listening to talk radio. people's "S" words sound more crackled. As in, "The silly salamander slipped down the slippery slope" would sound crackly.

 

ive got a 99 maxima with BOSE and mines very clear..

 

maybe the antenna connection broke loose when you put the new HU in, might wanna check that out and make sure the the antenna wire is snug fit into the radio
