i'm assuming i need to take off front bumper to install my fog light bracket?

i tired to stuff it in there nicely w/o too much force because trying to aviod damages but it doesn't look like it will fit at all. So i'm thinking i have to remove front bummper.

Try to get at it from underneath the bumper. Could you remove the splash shields then get access from underneath? I don't know, just an idea. I've never installed fog lights but I've removed bumpers a couple times.

i dont have a splash shield under my car, i've tried to wedge it in there and failed that way.

how hard is it to remove the bumper? I can take off the headlights/grille with ease. i figure there are a couple of fender liner bolts. and about 10 bolts up top that holds this in.

It's not hard, there are about 20 bolts total of all different shapes and sizes so don't lose them. It's touch to get at all the nut/bolts. But overall it's pretty easy.

wtf? you definitely do not need to take off the bumper. they slide in though the holes in the bumper, and you can bolt them up just fine. my install took 10 minutes, and that involved cutting the little plastic piece that gxe/gle's have in the fog light hole.

Brackets are incredibly easy to remove and put back in. All you do is tilt them a little and they slide right in/out.

No need to remove bumper. Just remove the splash shield and bolt the bracket on. If you cannot get the bracket to fit, try the other bracket.

you dont need to take the bumper off. I weaseld the brackets out some how. I think it was underneath or thru the fog light "hole" itself. Got my fancy hat dirty doing this

If you have the hole cut out like you'll need to anyway, you don't need to take the splash shields off. It will go in through the hole just fine and very easily.

easy install

Jeez wit these easy explanations Im wondering if its just that easy for the4m to be taken off ( STOLEN) I got the 95 max.... Am I wrong?
I seen a few empty holes in some 95's where the fog lights were supposed to be.

I was also thinkin that cutting out the fog light openning for the fogs might make it look like ****. I noticed one or 2 ****ty jobs on the road.

But then again its probably only the ones that were poorly done that i noticed.

I'll probably use a razor.

These causes make me consider changing for the 97 bumper / fogs(which are cheaper on ebay too)

You don't need to take off the bumper for it.

PM me your e-mail, I'll send you the instructions.

thanks,

It fits 10 times easier under the splash sheild then thru the bumper opening.
But those bolts to hold the bracket in are WEAK! I used a 1/4 in tiny rachet to start them 2 broke on me and 1 bend. the other 3 went in nicely. weak bolts. Brackets seem to be secure but i need to get me some stud extractors and get them out.
