The term 'hybrid' came from the OG days when we made a hybrid using parts from 2 or more different companies, hence the name hybrid.

JWT hybrid = JWT/Stillen Cone + FC MP.
Or short ram to the 's out there.

No, you're right, that setup should sound like a FC intake. $60 seems to expensive, you can get one on eBay for 50% cheaper, same brand too.

Adding a cone filter will give the growl after 3000 rpm or when you step on the gas. I have a little bit of a hybrid custom intake on my max. It works real well and makes a nice noise that i like to hear.

im gonna get that bomz one shown above.

im just curious, i noticed that JWT sells just the filters for 70.

would that filter be any better than the one listed for the bomz? or the same.

Dude go to autozone and buy a cone filter for 20 bucks they work just fine. more expensive doesnt always mean better.

You probably need the mounting bracket and velocity stack, probably cost more money.

Don't cheap out on the filter because you will be sorry later on. Get K&N or the other equivalent of it, don't remember the name.

Yeah crappy filters that don't do their job well might mess up your MAF sensor.
