The maxima is sounding really rough lately in the rear when it goes over bumps. even just riding in the straight line with no bumps i can hear a sort-of 'metal grinding on metal' noise often coming from the rear. It's the worst when i turn or am on a slanted road. I have KYB-AGX struts with H&R springs. My mechanic told me it might be the bushings or something. So what is the point of strut boots or strut mounts and better bushings? do they make the car ride better overall? cause my ride is pretty harsh right now and i have the suspension set on 4/8 in the rear. also, would bad bushings make noise like that? it started about 2 weeks ago and it seems like it's gotten worse recently.
