my gf has a 96 gle and she is thinking of either getting a supercharger or doing a 5spd manual swap. she already have the usual bolt ons such as a cai, y-pipe, and exhaust. she wants to get a supercharger, but she also is tired of her automatic. whenever she drives my car(prelude 5spd), she hates to go back to her automatic car. she's not that great at driving a 5spd yet, she's learning. however, she still want to do a tranny swap. so, which is better? a 5spd. swap or supercharger? i told her to get the supercharger because she doesn't race(somtimes). i heard that you can get a valve body for an automatic and maybe an upgraded torque converter. i think it's one or the other because both are expensive. thanks.

Get a supercharger. If you want a 5 speed, buy a new car.

Auto S/c will be faster, but 5spd is a nice change and feeling.
