Should be in the other cars forum.

Why are you getting rid of the maxima?

im getting a new car pretty much because my current max is falling apart. it has over 200k miles the transmission is failing and i just feel i should part ways with it. the 5th gen max sounds likes a good idea as i love the max. and ive never owned anything but nissan so i guess it would be cool to stay within the family.

y2k I30s are pretty lookers. I would have gotten one if I had more than 10k to spend.

You can get 2k I30s for less than $10k if you look around enough. I got my I30t for $8k with 75k miles on it.

Another car that I like in the $10k-$12k range that I like would be the Lexus GS 300/400 (98' & up).

for fun, get a nice 4th gen 5 speed (i dont know if you have a 5 speed or whatnot) and put the 3.5 engine in

otherwise just get a newer maxima... 5th gen 02-03 6 speeds are nice
