Max Vibrates/Shakes when braking...
I first started noticing this in summer of last year.... mostly at speeds in excess of 70mph... the car would vibrate when I would brake. Alignment and wheel balance were within spec, tires had about 15k mi on them. I replaced the tires in February, and got an alignment and balance and the problem persisted. A lot of my front suspension is new.... In the past 12 months I've replaced struts and mounts, lower control arms and ball joints, and tie rods.
Lately it has been getting worse, I've been noticing that the harder I brake and the faster my speed, the harder the car vibrates.
If it makes any sense, the vibration seems to be coming from the bottom of the front end somewhere. When I brake lightly, I first feel it in the steering wheel, and as I push down harder on the brake, the entire front end starts vibrating... it makes me feel like I'm going to lose control of my car.
What could this be?? Tranny mounts? Engine mounts?? Any suggestions?

99% chance your rotors are warped - replace them, and probably the pads while you're at it.
i am actually doing mine after work today. same problem. i let it go way too long, it should really be taken care of as soon as you start noticing vibration.
