Starting and Braking problems
Starting and Braking problems
Recently, I've brought my intake back to stock (It was a frankencar midpipe with a stillen pop charger). I didn't feel like taking off the battery so I didn't put the silencer? (I know its not the word, I'm having a brain fart) But, ever since then, sometimes, when I start my car, my RPMs are way down and sometimes my engine either cuts out or struggles. If I rev the car slightly when I start the car, it doesn't happen, but the idle is around 500 RPMs. In addition, it only happens some times, but it happens more than it doesn't. If it doesn't I get a healthy dose of about 1200 RPMs on idle.
During the installation, the stock intake housing didn't have those clamps that have the holes in them (to fit those rubber spikes coming out) so I just got the clamps from my intake and made it extremely tight. No air leaks from what I could see. Any help?
Also, I thought I might add this on too. Sometimes, my rear passenger brake makes a humming sound. It doesn't happen all the time, but its rather loud and annoying when it happens. Usually going either around 60mph, or in the 20s. I took it to Meineke and they said it doesn't look like anything's wrong, just that it's wearing out faster than the others.
