I live in SCal and am a big fan of dark tint to keep my car interior as cool as possible; also to keep the sun off my kids' faces when they fall asleep in their car seats.

I like 5% on the rear side windows. 5% on the rear window (20% if concerned about night-timevisibility). 35% on the front side windows.

I rarely run across folks who feel they tinted too dark; quite common to run across folks who feel they tinted too light.

I put 10% all around on my Max and it's perfect. I can actually see out of it at night, you can't really see much (except in day light).

Now that I think of it, my tint measured at 16.5% according to the Popo's tint measurement. heehee...

My older '91 max had 20% all around and that looked great as well (not to dark, but dark enough to have that good tint look).

I have 20% and its great. If i could do it again, i would get 5% on the sides, and keep the 20% on the rear window, because its already kinda hard to see out the back.

5% tint so you can't see up in my window.
