Changed clutch, now pedal engages differently

I changed my clutch and now the pedal is not as springy as it used to be as in when i release the clutch pedal it engages right away. It just grabs differently. I'm pretty sure i put it on right. Should i have to adjust my clutch pedal after doing a clutch change? I've bleed the system a couple times and it's still the same. I guess my question is, is it normal to have to re-adjust the clutch pedal after a clutch change?

It usually won't need readjusted. The engagement point will change some (usually lower), but as long as it's engaging well it's not a problem. The change in pedal feel is normal unless you've changed the type of clutch in some way.

If you follow the FSM procedure for clutch pedal adjustment it can't hurt if you want to try.

Acutally i took the stock one off and put it back on. Its a long story. Is there any reasoning why the engagement point changes?

The thickness of the clutch disc and the shape of the pressure plate.

If you took the stock one off and put it back on it should feel exactly the same. Are you sure you properly bled the system. Make sure there are no bubbles at all. Also, there are two bleeders.

Should i bleed both? Is this the bleeder by the air box? Can someone verify this for me. I dont want to open the valve and it not be clutch related.
