Car Died On the Freeway!! Wont Start! Help Needed!
So here's the story:
I was driving home on Friday night when all of a sudden I couldn't accelerate. I look down at my tach and it's at 0 RPMs. My red BRAKE light was on even though the E-Brake was obviously off. After pulling over and while waiting to get towed, I decided to pull my ECU codes. I got the following:
1302 MAP/BARO SW Solenoid/Valve
0215 Undefined
0801 Vacuum cut balve bypass valve
0807 EVAP Canister purge control valve/soenoid valve circuit
0903 EVAP Canister vent control valve
1005 EGRC Solenoid valve
Now, the 0215 (which came up undefined) and the 0903 actually popped up last week. After reading up on that code, it didn't seem major and I decided to keep driving with it on. Now this.....
My car won't start or even attempt to start. When I turn the ignition I hear nothing. My electrical system (stereo and all) seem to be working fine. Anyone have any suggestions as to how I can fix this problem? When looking at the guide to the ECU codes, none of these codes seem like they would cause such a major failure. I really need my car back! I've had her for 5 years and this is the first problem that I've encountered so I consider myself lucky, but I need to get her up and running ASAP! Thanks a lot.

Forgot to mention that I didn't hear a damn thing when the car died. I had the stereo up pretty high but I find it kind of weird that I didn't hear anything at all, the car just shut off and I didn't even notice anything was wrong until I tried to accelerate and didn't go anywhere.

Check your ground cable, the big one that goes from the neg to the engine block, see if it is corroded. I pulled a 1302 that keeps the CEL on too. I also have starting problems with mine. I'm not saying that is the problem, just coincidence. If your crank position sensor goes out the car won't start. replace that and go from there.

My max wont start either. Everything comes on, but it wont start at all. Maybe I will check the (-) ground, but if that was the issue I am sure nothing would word. Wonder if its the starter of that transponder system that craps up every now and then.
