B&M Copy Short Throw Shifter Review
This is just a quick review for the B&M copy STS on ebay. The installation was relatively easy even though I didn't take off the catalytic converter. I had to dremel the ball of the shifter on the bottom to get it to fit through the hole on the change extension. The throw is short as promised, it only has to travel inches from 1st to 2nd, ect. The only problem is that it sits too close to the front shifter trim and hardley hits it when you shifter into 1st or 3rd; it's no big deal unless the trim cracks. No complaints yet. Anyone looking for a cheap STS I would suggest this one.

Any rattles? And I had the same issues with the size of the ball not fitting on both the Topspeed B&M style and a true B&M. But instead of hacking the shifter I filed out the shift rod slightly. Also the 2 holes for the allen screws were off a bit, so I did some more filing. IMO its not worth the money for the true B&M, and I still prefer my Pacesetter STS over anything I have used.

I had to dremel part of the shift rod away too, and I have the true B&M version. Its not needed if you put the shifter through the shift rod coming from the bottom, but the install is harder that way.
