Can't Post Thread, what an ASININE RULE!!

Whats NOT cool, it that rule that I can't post a thread. I have been a member of the montecarloss.com organization for many years and I hate to break it to you all, but this ORG is just like any other org out there, we're all trying to help eachother out. So answer me this, what is the point of this site, if I; a new-owner of a maxima can't ask a simple question about maxima's to other maxima owners? Give me ONE good reason for not allowing new comers to post threads? Seiously...That rule is ASININE.

One reason is many new members sign up just to spam the board.
Another reason is many new members sign up, and immediately begin asking the same questions that have been asked time and time before.
By not allowing them to post right away it gives them the opportunity to read a bit more before posting threads.

okay, I can understand that you don't want people spamming, but for someone like myself who is very knowlegable about autos and just wants a simple question answered but there are 25-30 pages of threads, (most of which seem like questions or polls from children) do you really expect me to go through every thread and then every post looking for an answer?? ALSO if simple questions have been answered "time and time again" instead of FLAMING ME, couldn't someone just answer my question? I don't know, maybe its just me but I sense a lot of hostility on this board and I can't say that I like that. I have to say that so far, the people on the MonteCarloSS.com board were much more willing to help and not so quick to FLAME and poke fun at others.

Sorry, but most of the members here love to flame, and most of them havent even been here that long but have a HUGE post count so go figure.

haha well, atleast I'm not the only one getting flamed. Flava, i see that you boosted your 96. Would you recommend doing it? Also, what kind of setup are you running? and if you don't mind saying, what'd the whole thing end up costing ya? Oh and BTW thanks for the hospitality. It's nice to know that there are pleasant helpful people on this ORG.

It has nothing to do with being helpful or not. I share alot of info whenever i can. I just can't and won't condone a thread hijack. The rules are the rules. All you had to do was be a little more patient since you can post a new thread if you have 15 or more posts. If you don't like this particular rule you can post in the feedback forum and a forum administrator/moderator will gladly answer any questions or concerns that you have.

With that said, welcome to the .org. I'll help out with info whenever and wherever i can (in the proper context).

Sticky: a very helpful tool that is left at the top of each forum to link readers to very good information about (very) FAQ's.

I'd say anything but the stock ones... Like a lot of these guys were saying, anything for a change. I personally like the clear or the smoked, but those clear amber ones on ebay were pretty cool too. I'd go with whatever looks best on your car. Look around, im sure there are tons of pics on here of max's of your color with the different corners.

Does anyone know of a good ebay seller to buy clears from. I saw these: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/CLEAR...spagenameZWD1V but I didn't know if these were like the diamond cut bumper lights. I can't find diamond cut bumper lights on ebay. I am also looking for red/clear tails if you know a good seller for those.
