Not an opinion, but I read somewheres that the SE 5-speed had urethane bushings.

So does the auto SE have urethane bushings? It's stiffer than the regular Max, right?

I take long trips; I like a cushy ride. Suspension mods aren't appealing to me right now. (opinion)

My last car was a clapped-out Caprice, so my 98 SE auto feels like a go-cart in comparison, anyway.

You had a carpice? Did you notice people would drive slow around you? =) And when you pulled up behind them.. They moved over? Haha.. I know whenever I see a caprice I slow down. I try to get next to it and see who is driving before I speed up again.. Hehe..

If you saw mine, you probably wouldn't pull over. It was a white '88 and it was always dirty.

Our local police favor late-models and always keep them spotless. Law enforcement Caprices are getting rarer now that Chevy quit making them, anyway. So I didn't get no respect.

The Caprices were faster than the Crown Vics, though. I'd like to see if a Maxima could outrun an LT-1-powered Caprice. I doubt it. (flame away!)

I'm nostalgic about that car. I think that's crazy.

Oh, and, no one ever "got next to me to see who was driving." I think they would if I got an Aztecque.
