Opinions on motor mounts

I need a new rear one. I see alot of talk about Energy Suspensions motor mounts. Can someone offer their opinions on how their mounts have performed. Besides curving the wheel hop what else did you notice.

I am need motor mounts quick. So I am probably going to shoot for something autozone which should be close to stock. Should I be okay?

keep in mind that these are supporting your engine, i wouldnt get anyhthing cheap, you can get the energy suspension urethane inserts and press them into your stock mounts, you just gotta burn out the existing rubber. Besides reducing wheel hop, your car should 'feel' better when you shift and feel more solid. You may also get a slight vibration at idle, due to the fact that the stock mounts are softer to reduce vibration and increase comfort.

Why would you buy new ones just to gut them and fill with poly?
He should either buy used ones and do this, or take his out and gut them and fill them with poly if he can do without his car for the time it will take to complete the project.
I have poly filled mounts and theyve performed great. I didnt really notice too much vibration at idle but it did help the car feel more solid on launches.
Also, before I was going through a set motor mounts just about every year it seemed like, Ive had the poly filled ones for well over a year now and they feel as solid now as the first day they went in.

i filled mine w/ polyurethane. either shore 80a or 90a, don't remember, but it's on my cardomain site. it's pretty easy, you'll just have your car down for a few days while the urethane sets.

I have the ES inserts. Put them in less than a year ago. They're getting soft, feels like stock. First week they were stiff.. chassis would vibrate more and give me headaches at stops. Now it's smooth and silent. When using my right foot to steer it's a lil more responsive.
