I currently have silver stars installed in my max. How do the PIAA bulbs match up? They are kind of pricey so I was just wondering are they really worth the money?

I'm running 9007 Silverstars...people flash me with my low beams on....I love them, but the life of them isnt that great I believe. Don't do PIAA, I havnt heard that great a response for the price they are.

nokya high wattage blubs 80w/100w, with an aftermarket harness (full harness with connection to battery and separate grounds for each headlight) and 9007 conversion .... awsome light output.

Yeah the idea of Ebay and "lifetime warranty" don't exactly go together in my head...you might want to rethink that. I'm sure they will work, but dont trust the lifetime warranty idea.

I've got 9004 Silverstars. By far one of the best Halogen bulbs that are widely available. My only gripe with them is that they seem to burn out a little fast compared to normal halogen bulbs. Id highly recommend them to anyone looking for a cheap alternative to HID's

I've went for eurolite 9004 100w~> 9004 silverstars and now i'm at 9007 silverstars. I'm debating on weither or not i should get Tatanko's RICER bulbs or not.
Overall i'm very happy with the amount of light i get from 9007's I just need to reaim them a little more towards the center. my driver side beam spreads a little over to the left lane and the pass side is prefect. But just with just the pass side beam on, its more then enough on the road.

I had 9004 silverstars and the output was good but they weren't OK in the rain and they did not last more than six month. Then I did 9004->9007 swap and I put 9007 Philips night vision (tri-color) bulbs. I like the color of it because they give yellowish color and the are grea in the rain too! Had them for 3 month and still going strong.

Turk since i've seen you ask so many questions. I'm going to suggest you upgrade headlight harnessess right now and put those in. 150w or 100w for that matter is too much for a stock 45w harness to handle.
all info is in the stickies.

dude, i've had one of those blue/white headlights from ebay, but they dont give any light output on the road. Like others said, get Silverstars, or 9007 conversionOriginally Posted by Fre$h_TurK

Very true. I bought a pair and can barely see anything now. The blue tint of the light bulb makes it looks better by filtering out the yellow but takes away from the overall useable light output. IMO you should go for Silverstars or HID.Originally Posted by jaep0913

I think I'm gonna get some silverstars now that I'm not replacing my headlight housings. Will these fit right?
