am having a really really weird problem

i have changed the coil ignitions , spark plugs , knock sensor , cam position sensor ( something like that), starter, battery ( on warranty ), radiator, and 2 big oil leaks that the "gaskets" had to be changed. And the place that fixed the car said that they messed up the ecu so they bought me a used one which i dont know how they messed it up but whatever. The point why am writing this is because they didn't fix anything the car at first worked fine but i had noticed that it was running at a low RPM at idle ( around 600-550) on the drive gear ( its automatic). And one day i stopped at a stop sign and the car turned off. it did it once again at the next light and then worked fine after that. Since then the car has pretty much had a mind of its own. I noticed that the car would only turn off when am slowing down or when i stop. The car sometimes wouldn't want to turn on so when i crank it i have to accelerate and keep it alive i guess and sometimes it would just turn off or it will stay on. Another thing i noticed is that when i put on the AC the car doesnt turn off on me ( and when i turn on the ac i see the RPMs rise a little ). The only thing i can think of is that the car is idling too low and happens to shut off sometimes. Or that the car isn't getting enough fuel. If anybody can help me or have any suggestions, anything will help me at this point and i don't want to go back to the shop. Thanks

-mike

Sounds like a clogged fuel filter to me. When was the last time it was changed?

BTW, which part of miami do you hail from?

I had the same problem and it turned out to be the mass air flow sensor.

some mechanic came to my house and saw that the RPM's were way to low so he unscrewed that little bolt on the intake, he told me that the EGR was clogged so hes gonna clean that and the throttle body and he says that the way the car is acting isn't anything major... i bought a fuel filter am gonna install it tomorrow, am in Kendall nismology, you?
