replacing rear window glass

some as$hole broke my rear corner window. i've already got the replacement from a junkyard, just wanted to see if anyone had a howto with pics. someone mentioned that you have to remove the main glass and then slip in the smaller corner piece.

Have you checked the FSM? BF-37 is a guide to removing the glass, not sure if it helps for the rear corner window though

take a closer look at the weather stripping, you have to take ur rear window off first. Follor the black metal bar that hold the rear corner glass in place. There will be a screw that you have to unscrew. Its only one. You can take that bar off and then remove the rear window glass. I removed it when i tinted my windows myself.

real helpful, buddy.

1. no one "takes it off" for you at the junkyard. you do it yourself
2. it's a junked car, so i don't care about ripping out the window trim and popping the glass out. i do care about my car, which is why i asked how to do it correctly

You do have to remove the main glass piece. The you have to remove the metal bar seperating the two glasses. There is a small phillips screw at the top holding it in under the weather stripping. Then there is two 10mm bolts. Thats all there is to it.
