Cars in the body shop and the insurance company came and looked at the car for the second time because of a broken bracket on the cat...so it came down to that im gettin all new exhaust from the manifold back....Stock OEM parts but still 2400$ worth of parts alone cause i got reareneded....Im gonna like all new STOCK parts .I'ts nice and quiet

 

If you ever plan to upgrade to an aftermarket exhaust now's the time. Talk to the shop guy and see what he's willing to do. I had an accident and I need a couple new tires and rims so I said f*ck it, I was going to replace them in a month or two anyway and did it then. The money that the shop didn't spend to replace those rims and tires, the guy put towards my $500 deductible and I didn't have to pay a penny. (It was like $480 and the guy said screw the $20. Probably because I let him keep the old rims and tires, worth more than $20...) See if they'll take the money and a little extra that you'll throw in to cover whatever difference there may be and put a new exhaust, or maybe just a Y-Pipe (considered the single greatest mod for the Maxima) with the stock cat and muffler.
