Has anyone installed the koni's themeselves?(I mean you're not a mechanic and you dont have a shop) If you have, please tell me how to do it and any helpful hints. Also, about how much would it be to pay a mechanic to do it?

Do a search for it... I found a member's web site that had instructions and pictures... I did not think it was all that hard to do, but I did have access to a lift.

Just put in my Koni's today. It is not hard. NickStam's How2 is excellent. MaximaDriver also has one. With a large pipe cutter and a corded drill, you are pretty much set. I found that compressing the springs to be quite tedious and painful though.... In any case, if you are doing it by yourself, definitely have a decent vise.
