front driver side brakes:

yeah bizarre incident ... a year after i did my brakes, somehow the bolt on the torque member fell off (unscrewed off) while I was leaving a parking lot and it locked up the brakes somehow. Somehow, something got pushed into my wheel and tore a hole in the underside of it.

when I tried to put realign the torque member (with the caliper still screwed on it), it seems like the heatshield had rotated counter clockwise a bit and was blocking the torque member by a centimeter.

I will take it all apart and see whats up but i'd like to know if the heatshield is indeed adjustable or did **** just get misaligned after this incident.

I'll get pics, but would appreciate answers! very strange this happened ... I had torqued everything to spec too last year.
