getting engine misfire code

Last night the max got a 0701 engine misfire code and I cant seem to diagnose it.

Here's a little background info first. About two weeks ago, the max started driving like crap and the CEL came on. I got the code of 0605 misfire in cyl #4. I played around with it and noticed that the spark plug was fouled so I replaced it. The car ran fine until last night. The max started driving like crap and smelled like unburnt fuel. I check the code when I got home and pulled a 0701, the engine misfire code. I checked the #4 plug and it was all good so I reset the code and took it for a spin and got another CEL. This time it was 0607, cyl #2 misfire. I replaced the #2 plug which was fouled and was on my way to work. The car didnt feel totally smooth but I was able to get 5 miles before it started driving rough and smelling like gas. I pulled over and got the code 0701 again. I drove it home and the light did not come back on. Just now I checked the front bank of plugs and everything looked good. Im going to take it for another spin later tonight.

So has anyone else experienced this before?? I checked the FAQ's and it was kinda vague about the 0701 code. If this continues, I was probably buy a new cam pos sensor and possibly a single new ignition coil.

CN: car starts driving like crap and I get a 0701 code for misfire. What should I do?
