IACV and injen

I disconnected my TPS to test and see if my car would stall out, and it did. So I adjusted my IACV screw until enough air passage was accomplished. Now I hear a constant vacuum sound coming from my Injen CAI. I noticed an improved throttle response including the removal of the splash guard as well. Well does anyone have any ideas why I hear more of a vacuum sound from my CAI, and is it fine?

So........you elminated the TPS completely, and the way you're keeping it on is by manually adjusting the IACV?

You hear more of a "vacuum" sound because there is less muffling the sound of the intake than there used to be.
