Sale price was $5890. After the mandatory warranty I had to buy in order to get financed, and a 22% interest rate (f'n credit history...).. it's like $12,100 after it's all said and done.

Yeah... I know... but in all honesty, it's worth every penny to me.

a very nice purchase. sucks that the paint needs some work, though. i would have thought that you could get the price down a little bit. but anyway, looks good. and is it just me, or is that antenna enormous?!? looks like some C/B antenna! anyway, SE-L is a rare find and that car is clean inside and out. not sure how the CF will go with the tan, but maybe when it all comes together with the black hood and trunk lid, rims and AE the headlights it'll looks sweet. good luck!

I've "blacked out/JDM'ed/AE'ed" headlights in the past... and every time... regardless of how careful I am, how mush sealant... etc... it still leaks.

I've realized that headlights are not necessarily my forte, so I, regretfully, will buy them... but yes, I will have AE'd headlights, corner lights, and clear corners.

very nice car. if it were mine I would not mod it. maybe put in some heated leather seats, but leave the mechanicals alone.

just curious. how much was the xtended warranty? what does it cover? you may want to save your pennines and pay off that loan asap instead of modding anything. think of it as your mods costing 3x what they otherwise would. is there a pre-payment penalty on the loan?

some routine maintenance items you may want to consider:
- brake fluid flush
- coolant flush (use nissan OEM)
- plugs
- P/S fluid drain/fill (turkey baster) at every oil change from now on (use cheap DexIII)
- inspect undercarriage for rust. treat/repair any rust (wire brush, rust dissolver, eastwoods paint). keep undercarriage clean in winter (wash after driving on wet salty roads)

They were kinda vague on the warranty.... I know it's $100 deductible... and it covers powertrain... but there might be more to it than that.... it's 45months (the duration of the loan), or 45,000 miles. The warranty was $1860.

There is no penalty for paying it off early.

I had them do a full tune-up, and complete fluid change before I took delivery. The only rust that's on it is on the exhaust... and that's getting pulled anyway.
