vibration from steering wheel

i'm not a newbie to working on cars are anything, but i'm curious if anyone has ran into a similair problem. i have new front in end suspension. i.e. new strut, mounts, control arm, inner and outer tie rods, endlinks, brake pads, rotors, lines, tires, rim, balanced and aligned. i only get vibration at 60 to 75 through the steering wheel. but its gets pretty smooth after that. i have ran the car to 120 plus with no problem or shaking. jsut curious why i would do it at only this speed. i also changed the knock sensor, and all 3 crank sensors, plus o2 sensor as well. new mounts have also been installed. my friend maxima does the same thing and his has nothing but new strut and its less noticable than mine. the shaking is only noticable around this speed. any input would be appreciated guys. also my only mod and short ram intake, y pipe, and soon to be mevi. might sell the mevi though.

also on another note. there is no play what so ever from the tires, meaning bearing or suspension. everything is nice and firm. last thing i forgot to ask, when i aligned my car, the rear was perfectly toed in for some reason. anyone can give me some insight on that.

So are you saying that your tires are wearing evenly? In most cases I would think the wearing of the tires causes the shaking.

Is it road speed or engine speed that the vibe relates to?

I get a slight vibe at 2500rpm most noticable in 2nd when powering hard. Over the w/e I aligned the tie rods that connect the sway bar to the LCA so that they are perfectly in line with the LCA mount bracket. That seemed to make a difference - I'm not sure coz now I gotta fix my clutch.

Maybe one of your rims is bent? Try rebalancing yur wheels and make sure there is no rust/residue where the rims makes contact with the tires.

thanks for the feedback guys. i have rebalance and realigned the car. both come out in specs. no play what so ever anytime or at any speed. beside the light steering that max are known for. it shakes only at that speed. i thought it was something lose, or bent. nothing is out of place. changed the knock sensor to a new one, and it helps a good bit. i thought it would be a nisfire causing my shaking but only at 65 to 75. that is strange. the load does not matter, i go wot or partial and it is still the same feeling. i haven't checked the alignement of the endlinks yet, i'm going to try that. also the intake will be taken off in favor of mevi and new gaskets for the valve cover and tube seal. might as well since i'm their. thanks for the info guys.

bad tires; possible flat spots in your treads?

i know where your comin from man, i have the same issue. it's not consistent though. one day it'll be good, next, it'll vibrate again. i read up that supposedly after a certain amt. of miles, we get this vibe that wont go away; which is bull**** in my opinion.

check the tires

check tire pressure and make sure theyre all evened out. one side of my tires as really effed up and i didnt know it until i took it off. it was really morphed. if the tires check out okay, i would just double check the tires and make sure theyre in the shape that their supposed to be..
